The ASBDC and Intuit: Partners at a Critical Time

One of the goals of the Association of Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC) is “To help new entrepreneurs realize their dream of business ownership.” Intuit of course shares this vision. In fact, it runs so deep on our DNA that we’ve been close partners with the ASBDC since 2003.

This year, Intuit is stepping up its commitment to the ASBDC by sponsoring this year’s 2011 conference in San Diego at the Titanium level. Here we will have a strong Small Business Group staff presence in our booth with all four of our major business units represented, each showcasing small business products and services and ready to answer questions from conference attendees.

Here you’ll find employee management solutions from Intuit Payroll, hear about financial management solutions from the QuickBooks team, learn how to grow your business with Intuit Websites, plus get info from our payment solutions teams, GoPayment and Merchant Payments. As well, Ken Wach, Vice President of Marketing within our Small Business Group, will make some remarks at the ribbon cutting that will officially open the ASBDC 2011 Exhibit Hall.

Throughout the entire week of the conference, attendees will also find Intuit a strong presence at a variety of workshops, including:

  • Making It Easy For Your Clients with Intuit Websites
  • Help Them Hire and Grow – How to Guide Clients Through the Hiring Process
  • QuickBooks – Advanced Topics and Ask the Expert
  • Financing Best Practices
  • Accepting Payments With Intuit – How Payment Tools Can Change the Game for Small Businesses

ASBDC member programs assist more than one million small businesses every year. These companies are part of the 22 million small businesses in America, which combined account for 99 percent of all businesses in the nation, employ 53 percent of our private sector workforce, and contribute over half of the country’s national private gross domestic product.

Now more than ever, it is critical to ensure that the ASBDC, the SBDC network, and our small business customers are fully supported. We hope to see you at the conference!
