Small Biz Weathers the Storm [INFOGRAPHIC]

Whether a small business is based indoors or outdoors, chances are it is affected by severe weather sometime. Snow storms, heavy rainfall, high winds, and the like stall outdoor labor (like construction) and keep people off the streets — both employees and customers — from coast to coast.

While most businesses have a tough time wrestling with Mother Nature, a number of small businesses rely on her wrath to rake in the dough — from umbrella salesmen to  snow shovelers (like @ShovelBoys). We took a look at the many ways severe weather impacts small businesses — both good and bad — breaking it down by industry and geography.
