Get ready for National Small Business Week

Did you know that every year since 1963, the President of the United States has proclaimed National Small Business Week to “recognize the contributions of small businesses to the economic well-being of America”?

Well, get ready to celebrate because this year’s National Small Business Week is around the corner. Small businesses from around the country will gather in our nation’s capital to kick off the 47th annual National Small Business Week at a three-day event held by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and share with each other during networking events, get expert advice from discussion forums, hear inspirational keynote speakers and learn about resources available to them. Entrepreneurs will also be honored during special awards ceremonies. For those who can’t make it out to Washington, D.C., don’t fret – the events will also be webcast live at www.NationalSmallBusinessWeek.com.

We at Intuit are proud to be one of the event sponsors this year, so if you do attend, look out for us and say hello! Angus Thomson, who heads up Intuit’s Grow Your Business division, will be one of the panelists for Tuesday’s Social Media Forum. We will also have a table in the open exhibit area. Hope to see you there!
