The newest breed of microfinance — crowdfunding — is fast growing in popularity. In this infographic, we take a closer look at how crowdfunding works and how viable it is. We are a start up seeking funding and participation, we are looking for $500,000 in capital. Half of this amount could be in the form of a credit line or CD. Food investment is a great inflation hedge. People will eat and quality organic foods will always account for a market share. Our concept is along the locovore paradigm of growing foods in the community they are consumed in. This company will not need another round of funding, it will fund it's growth with sales. We have a strong business plan still rough but informative available, available electronically with NDA.

Looking to find capital to change from equipment Mfg. to franchising . My company has been in business for 14 years and have equipment in 42 countries . We offer training in all aspects of opening a successful business . We need to raise about 500,000. to hire a company to assist with the franchising. How do we get crowd funding? Any suggestion

Love the infographic and certainly matches up with what we're finding with our Crowdfunding site, crowdfunder.co.uk.

Excellent infographic that was well desiigned. Crowdfunding needs as many articles/resources like this as possible to keep on educating everyone on how powerful it is and will be.I'm fortunate enough to be part of a new crowdfunding website called HelpersUnite.com. We connect artists, entrepreneurs, and charitable organizations with supporters who are compelled to contribute time, talents, and funding to help reach a common goal. The first-ever platform to combine fundraising for creative and business ventures with charitable giving and online event ticketing, HelpersUnite.com inspires the best in social networking for worthy causes.

Thank you so much for bringing this to a wider audience. The infographics offer excellent explanation and clarity. I am often asked for funding advice and sources of grants, etc. I shall certainly take a closer look at this methodology for some of the brighter ideas which are offered up.Best regards, Marcus Macleod Serial Entrepreneur
