Where Are Small Businesses Making a Comeback? [INFOGRAPHIC]

Small businesses are making a come back but it is very slow and we need to pick up the paste to bring our economy back.
Ooooh, and MA too. It's funny, because I have actually noticed how many more small businesses are cropping up, and how many of the big neon lights of chains seem to be going out. It's interesting to see it on a map, but it is another to see it in your own neighborhood. Thanks for the article!
Nice to see Wisconsin showing strength with growth in the Midwest - happy to doing my part to contribute :)
Thanks for the graphic. I'm trying to buy local and small business as much as possible. I've found a great local printer repair place. They also have affordable prices on toner. In addition, they are a good reference for other small businesses on bookkeeping and virtual office planning.
Outstanding graphic: thanks for putting this together.Could you provide us with some details on the sampling methodology used to collect this data? For example, what constitutes a "small business" for this data? How large were the sample sets? (Do you think they are statistically meaningful to the population?) Were certain classes excluded? Any additional information would be interesting. Thanks again!Preston
