Want Your Own Ad at Football’s Biggest Game? Intuit Launches a Game-Changing Experience for Small Business Owners

It’s the pinnacle of advertising, the kind of TV spot that small business owners dream of: a commercial during football’s biggest game.

That dream is becoming a reality, thanks to Intuit. Today we’re launching a once-in-a-lifetime program that will give small business owners a seat at the table next to some of the biggest brands on the planet. The Intuit Small Business Big Game by Intuit QuickBooks is putting millions of dollars worth of awards directly into small business, ranging from special Intuit QuickBooks product offers to advice from entrepreneur, author and reality television star of Giuliana and Bill, Bill Rancic. In the end, one lucky small business owner will receive our top prize: a TV ad spot on the big game, produced and paid for by Intuit.

“Every small business has a unique story – and we want the world to hear it,” says Brad Smith, Intuit’s President and chief executive officer. “Small businesses account for 90 percent of the U.S. economy, but they rarely get credit for their tremendous impact.

Phase one of the program starts now and runs through September 22, 2013. Just visit the Small Business Big Game website and tell the world your company’s story in 600 characters or less. Just for entering, participants receive the Intuit Small Business Playbook – a tips and tricks guide on hot topics for small businesses, plus 30 days of free access to QuickBooks Online, including payroll and payment solutions, along with a 50% off discount for the next 12 months. We’ll have all kinds of other prizes for entrants during this time, including $1,000 business grants and autographed football memorabilia.

During the week of September 23, 2013, the companies that get the most votes will advance to a second round of challenges, with more prizes given away, including Facebook and Google advertising credits and a trip to the big game. On October 28, 2013, Intuit employees will narrow down the field from 20 top small businesses to just four. We’ll create professional TV ads for all of the finalists, and from November 11, 2013 to December 1, 2013, the world will vote and select our ultimate winner, which will have its ad air during the big game in February 2014!

I have been asked by dozens of people who are voting for us in the Small Business Big Game contest, if there is any way to see where we are in the voting standings. Is there?
