Amber Schweitzer, owner of PEP Club Sports in Parker, Colorado is the December winner of a $25,000 Intuit Hiring Grant on LoveALocalBusiness.com. PEP Club is now a Finalist, along with Buss Fitness of Northfield, Ohio and Todali Tackle of Philpot, Kentucky. One of these three Finalists will be selected by our judge, business advisor Rhonda Abrams, to have their grant doubled to $50,000.

Ellechor Publishing House, a new publisher of Christian fiction and non-fiction literature based in Beaverton, Oregon, is the local business that was randomly selected to win a $5,000 grant. Love A Local Business Delivers Grant to Blossom Birth

In January we had over 30,000 love notes posted to LoveALocalBusiness.com. Each brief message of adoration also served as a nomination to win a small business grant.

After a random selection narrowed the competition to just five businesses, Blossom Birth, a non-profit birth and parenting resource in Palo Alto, California, was the ONE that was selected by our judges to win the Grand Prize grant: $25,000 worth of local radio advertising on the Westwood One network, $9,500 in cash and $500 in Intuit products and services.
