New York’s Heart and Soul Events Wins $25,000 Grant

Heart and Soul Events in Frankfort, New York is our final October Love A Local Business grant winner! As a recipient of one of our nine $25,000 hiring grants, it joins WEBIT Services and Ferrin Accounting as finalists for the Grand Prize to be handed out in early January.

Special events planning company Heart and Soul Events produces weddings, corporate events, and other parties. After leveraging her corporate planning experience to plan several weddings for family members, owner and founder Connie Castellano decided to follow her passion and started the company as a side business in 2008.

Castellano plans to use the grant to help grow the business by opening a storefront from which to operate. It will serve as a base for event consulting, as well as a showroom for event rentals and products such as wedding favors and custom bows.

We’ve awarded three hiring grants, and there will be just six more to award this year. Will your business be the next one we feature? Nominate your business to apply for a hiring grant today!
