Intuit QuickBooks Wants to Help Your Small Business Create Big Buzz

Today more than ever, small business owners are relying on online buzz and local marketing to grow their businesses. But for entrepreneurs with a limited marketing budget, spreading the word about their business online without the right tools or guidance can be daunting.

That’s why QuickBooks’ new Small Business Local Buzz campaign is helping small business owners like you build successful buzz in communities around the United States.

Could Your Business Use $5,000 worth of Buzz?

To date, Intuit has awarded more than $5 million to hard-working small-business owners who are making their dreams a reality and positively impacting their communities.

Between February 2nd and March 16th, small businesses will have an opportunity to win a customized marketing package worth $5,000. The prize package includes tools tailored to your business, such as a custom video, a social media consultation, and an email template – all geared to getting more customers, faster.

To enter, simply tell us about your business and how it would benefit from some marketing buzz. Then, share your entry with friends and fans to encourage votes and increase your chances of being one of the 15 winning businesses.

Best of all, just for entering you’ll receive our free Building Buzz on a Budget guide with tips and tricks on marketing your business. You’ll also automatically be eligible for one of six weekly $500 sweepstakes prizes. Just make sure to submit your entry before March 16th!

We’ll be announcing and profiling winners on the Intuit Small Business Blog throughout the month of March.

If you really want to help small businesses - start by fixing all the bugs in QB 2014.

The new version is a train wreck and is causing massive amounts of wasted time.

Shame on you guys for doing anything else until you fix your core business product.

FORCING users to upgrade to QB 2014 while it is so riddled with bugs is unacceptable:
- Unexpected crashes
- Email not sending
- Useless online help (having to search thousands of articles)
- Hours waiting for idiotic, or apathetic, phone support
- No responses to repeated support requests through the application help function
- CHARGING your own IPN and CC Intuit merchants extra to use your email service!
You guys have really screwed up and owe all of your loyal customers an apology - I've been a customer since Windows Version 5 and have never had such terrible problems with an upgrade.
