Form-A-Corp Wins $25,000 Hiring Grant from Intuit

Helping new small businesses get off the ground is what inspires Adrian Brion (pictured) to get out of bed each morning.

And fortunately for Brion and his three employees at Form-A-Corp, the office may soon be filled with the friendly voices of new colleagues to help grow the business and expand its array of quality services.

Brion’s web-based firm, which provides entity formation services nationwide to individual entrepreneurs and business owners, is the latest Love A Local Business winner. As a result, the company will be awarded a $25,000 hiring grant from Intuit.

Back on The Map

According to Brion, the grant money will change his business immensely — and immediately.

“Form-A-Corp, as a website, has been around since 1998,” Brion says from his office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. “I went to work for the company back in 2003 for a few years and then I left for a few years. I ended up coming back and taking over the business in 2007.”

“For the last year and a half we’ve had a very limited budget for marketing and for hiring and incentivizing our sales team,” he admits. “We used to have eleven employees and we were growing but then the market took a little bit of a turn and we had to downsize. We kind of went down to a minimalist structure for a while.”

Brion says the grant will give Form-A-Corp an opportunity to get back to where the company was just a few short years ago.

“$25,000 will put us back on the map,” Brion believes. “We’re in the process of launching a brand new website that is going to integrate all the new services that we have.  We’ve been working on that for over a year now and we’re about two or three weeks away from launching that. It’s going to get us back to where we need to be with more employees and get out there to help start businesses for other people.”
